Hello Cerro Villa Vikings!

I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to serve as the Principal of Cerro Villa.  I am very proud of all the dedication and achievements by our students, staff, and families. We have so many amazing programs to show you! 2024-2025 will be my second year as Principal at Cerro Villa and eleventh year of administration in Orange Unified . Prior to my transition to Cerro Villa, I served as Principal for four years at Nohl Canyon Elementary School (2019-2023), and as Assistant Principal at Villa Park High School (2014-2019). Before my career in administration, I spent nine years at Cerro Villa and six years in the Torrance Unified School District as a middle school Physical Education Teacher.  I received my bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education from Cal State University Long Beach in 1999, and a master’s degree in educational administration from Concordia in 2012. I possess a single subject teaching credential in physical education and an administrative services credential.

Outside of education, my family consists of three daughters, ages 28, 21, 19 along with a grandson and granddaughter! My two younger daughters are alumni of Cerro Villa and Villa Park HS (c/o 21 and 23).  My wife and I live in the city of Orange and enjoy being part of this great community.

I look forward to the continued partnership with the Cerro Villa community.
